Men of Emmaus Church, this October we will be hosting the highly anticipated Emmaus Men’s Retreat!

The primary goals of this retreat are — to cultivate friendship, participate in thoughtful discussion, and grow in Christian love toward one another and God himself.

When: Men are invited to begin arriving October 6th at 5pm (dinner will be served at 6pm). We’ll disperse about 23 hours later, 4pm on the 7th.

Where: Grant/Stillwater, MN (Boyer homestead)

Who’s Invited: All men of Emmaus Church are invited. If space becomes an issue, then members of the church will be given priority.

The Agenda: The agenda is rather simple—we’ll eat together (dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, plus snacks throughout), pray together, take part in planned discussion (there are a few pre-retreat readings that will be dispersed before the retreat), and enjoy recreation together (indoor board games, as well as some outdoor activities).

Sleeping Arrangements: This is scheduled as an overnight retreat. However, we know that is not a possibility for everyone. So if you need to go home for the night, we understand. And you can invited to return on Saturday. For those desiring to sleep on site (we hope most guys are able to) our venue does not have the beds require to sleep everyone—most people will be asked to bring an air mattress and sleep on those. We will also likely need to ask others to bring a tent and sleep outside. We should be able to make space work, but we are going to have to ask everyone to be flexible! Thanks for understanding.

Cost: Free. The expenses needed to make this event possible are covered by ministry funds of the church.
