Tom Boyer
Lead Pastor
Tom is the happy husband of Emily and the fortunate father of three. Tom has a Masters in Divinity from Bethlehem Seminary, and he is overjoyed to be serving as a minister of Jesus Christ at Emmaus Church. Tom enjoys great books, singing songs, and eating good food in the company of others.
Tom Hipkins
Pastor
Tom and his wife, Eve, have four daughters and a son and have lived in White Bear Lake since 2007. For his day job, Tom is a Shareholder and the Chair of the Patents Group at Fredrikson & Byron, a law firm in Minneapolis. Tom enjoys studying God’s word, listening to people talk about what’s important to them, playing tennis, and growing in patience through cheering for the Timberwolves and Vikings.
Steve Klem
Pastor
Steve is the husband of Laurie and father of two married sons. They have lived in the WBL area for most of their lives. Steve is a graduate of Bethlehem College and Seminary, and he desires to be found faithful and help the members of Emmaus Church do the same. He enjoys sharing meals, hiking, biking and golfing with family and friends.
Rob Burton
Pastor & Treasurer
Rob and his wife Jill have lived in the East Metro for thirty years. They stay busy with their two kids and two grandchildren who live nearby. Rob and Jill enjoy the adventure of traveling together to the four corners of the globe. Rob also enjoys the challenge of preparing and gathering around an excellent culinary meal. After thirty-eight years in business, working as a Director of Internal Audit, Rob is excited to see what this next chapter of life holds for Jill and him. Rob and Jill find great blessing in utilizing their gifts from God in service of Emmaus Church.
Josh Tollett
Associate Pastor
Josh and his wife, Jeanna, have five happy kids. Josh received his MDiv. and ThM degrees from Bethlehem College and Seminary in Minneapolis, MN. He is privileged to serve Emmaus as one of the pastors on staff. His interests revolve around family, friends, and theology.

Samuel Hoganson
Deacon
Samuel and his wife, Paige, met and were married at Emmaus. They are the proud parents of a sweet little girl. He is the Director of Human Resources at a global IT consulting company. Samuel enjoys spending time outside no matter the season and spending time with family and friends.
Jill Burton
Clerk
Jill is married to Rob. She worked professionally as an Intellectual Property Paralegal within a law firm and in managing corporate teams, as well as held the title of Corporate Secretary. For fun, Jill enjoys being a part time yoga instructor, creating art, and scoping out new travel places to explore with Rob.
