I’m New

Welcome to Emmaus Church! We are a biblical and historically rooted local church that worships our triune God and helps one another follow Jesus Christ. We worship the God who has loved the world by sending his Son to die and rise for sinners, so that we ourselves might die and rise by faith in Jesus. To learn more about our beliefs, please visit our What We Believe page.

We would love to have you join us in worship on Sunday mornings. Here are a few things to expect on Sunday morning if you are visiting us for the first time:

  • We meet each Sunday morning at our building, 2263 3rd St. in downtown White Bear Lake. Our service runs from 10am to approximately 11am.

  • After our service, we encourage everyone to spend time fellowshipping with one another in and around the church building. Please feel free to stay at church after the service is over—we would love to get to know you!

  • We want you to feel welcomed into our church, whether you have been a Christian for many years or are simply curious about what it means to follow Jesus.

  • We encourage everyone (children, adults, those with disabilities) to participate in our worship service. We understand the challenges of parenting in the pew. We invite parents to bring snacks, coloring books, etc. for service. We know this may be new and challenging. Our hope is to see these children grow in maturity and love of our triune God through participating in the worship service. To learn more about how we seek to train up our children in the Lord, please visit our Children page.

  • If you are a believer in Jesus and living a life shaped by faith, then we invite you to participate in communion. You will receive instruction from an elder about how to take communion.

  • We are a diverse body with many members, all coming from different backgrounds and experiences. We embrace the unity we have under our one Lord Jesus Christ.

  • We would love to pray for you and with you! Please don’t hesitate to talk to one of our pastors if you have prayer concerns.
